These fit pretty true to size. If you're typically between sizes though, I'd say to try sizing up, especially if you're tall as they're pretty short. Champion brand stuff tends to be cut for shorter frames and I find the rise on a lot of their shorts/pants to sit too low if you're on the taller side. Sizing up makes the waist looser so they can fall a little lower and not be booty shorts if that's not what you're after. Shorter people won't have an issue with any of that and can probably order their usual size. It's sub-zero outside, so haven't gotten to try them out yet, but they feel like they'll be comfy for working out, lounging or yard work. Also love that they have pockets, although not having test run them yet, don't know if the pockets are deep enough to jog/run or bend down and garden without a phone falling out. Or whether they'll become plumber shorts when kneeling down or bending forward.
