The first thing that caught my attention upon opening the package was how the bib was neatly folded and wrapped with a little bow. Just a small detail that made me smile.It is important to note that these run a little small. I ordered the XL, which was the largest size available through the Amazon store. I was able to get them on, but not high enough for the chamois to sit in the right place and rest against my body.The material felt very thin and yet was extremely sturdy. I'm a part of the thick thigh club and I really had to tug, grab, and pull at these to get them up. I was worried that I would put a hole in them while doing so, but they held up very well. Once on, despite being snug, they felt really good and were not restrictive. The straps had enough stretch that they did not cut into my shoulders.Overall these seem to be very comfortable and high quality. I did end up returning the XL and ordering a XXL directly from Pearl Izumi. I will come back and add to this after I have worn them for some long distance rides.
