I didn't love the look of these when I first ordered them (having been used to the Lunarglide 7s), but after trying on both these and the Winflo 5s, I noticed a significant difference in the level of comfort/support in favor of the Lunarglides. Comfort won out, and these have been great; plus, I eventually decided I really like the look of them.I've used them to run, hike, walk, do workout classes, etc., and they've been good in all - I can hike for hours and hours in them and my feet don't get tired (even if I do). It's true that tiny rocks do get in the traction if you take them places where there are lots of tiny rocks, but I didn't find that those that stuck around for any length of time were big enough for me to feel. I've been told at a running store that I had some degree of overpronation, so I at one point bought some serious stability shoes, which I really never came around too - they were too stiff and uncomfortable. I'm not an expert, but these seem to be a great compromise between comfort/looks and stability.Because I use them for just about every significant physical activity I do (I know I'm supposed to rotate but I don't), they have gotten a lot of wear and have held up well since purchase in May 2018. Nevertheless, I just purchased another pair to eventually replace the first - just in case I can't find them again when I finally wear these ones to the out. These shoes are great! I haven’t had them very long, but so far, they are perfect! I am 62 years old and was born with flat feet. Since I have severe pronation, any time I am on my feet, whether shopping, or walking for exercise, I struggle with painful tendonitis. I have no idea how much money I have spent over the years on orthotics and shoes. I have tried numerous custom-built and ready-made orthotics. It has been difficult to find comfortable (and affordable) shoes that accommodate them, but when I do, the shoes begin to break down rather quickly causing me to walk off the outside of the shoe. I had basically given up, but after some research, I decided to try these Nikes since they had the built-in support. As soon as I put these shoes on, I felt immediate relief from the pain. I wore them all day and my feet still felt good at the end of the day. Even though my feet were tired, there was no pain. Some people think these shoes are expensive, but after dealing with this issue all my life, the price is very reasonable if they work. I hope these continue to feel as good as they did when I first put them on. I will be buying more once I am sure they will hold up for a reasonable amount of time.I'm 50 years old and have been wearing Nike sneakers since I was a child on a cross country track team. Although I am not such an avid runner these days, I will say that these shoes provide great stabilization for people with flat feet that tend to over pronate. I have tried many other brands; Asics are a good second place, but New Balance, Saucony, Merrell, Adidas, etc, don't work for me. This particular model of Nike, the Lunarglide, is awesome, lots of cushion & an easy ride. They also feel very light on the feet, very comfortable. I had 2 pairs of the Lunarglide 6 that lasted a good while. I just upgraded to 2 pairs of the Lunarglide 8, this black & white pair & the light blue (Ocean) with white. I wear these for everyday activities & at the gym. For my money this Nike model is the best sneaker for people with flat feet. I am a big fan & highly recommend.I have been wearing the Lunarglides for a long time. These fit me a bit smaller than my older pairs, but they are not too small to wear comfortably. I feel like the Lunarglide 9 is a sturdier shoe than the older ones. They just feel like they have more support. The shoelaces are kind of short, and I usually feel that they are too long. Until the shoes were really broken in and the laces stretched a bit they were really hard to tie tightly. Saying this, I would definitely buy them again. The shoe is lightweight and very comfortable. I have to wear sneakers all the time at home because of the arch support, and these are really good support. I like the looks of these and the material they are made from. I also like the price of this shoe. I have to replace my shoes often, and the money really adds up. Definitely a good purchase!Five years ago I bought a pair of Lunarglides. As a walker, sometime runner, and hiker, I needed a shoe that would cover all my various activities. After five years later, the shoes finally wore out, and after searching, buying and returning several other types of shoes, I bought the Lunarglide 9. My first pair of Lunarglides were recommended by a running expert because I tend to roll my feet when I run and the Lunarglide has special support to stop my foot from doing that. I loved those shoes, and I could wear them all day doing various activities and never had sore or tired feet. The Lunarglide 9 is just as good. My feet feel totally comfortable and supported in these shoes. I hope this pair lasts as long as my first.Avid fan of the Lunarglide in general. They discontinued it and I have now moved on to the new Epic React as I reached out to Nike and that’s the shoe they recommended as the Lunarglide “replacement”, so just FYI.As for this shoe, it’s no Lunarglide 6 or 7 (my personal fave) but it’s still a pretty good running shoe. I needed a replacement for my old pair and this one was good in a pinch. It has the support I was looking for, I’m mainly treadmill now a days, but I wouldn’t recommend it for trail as it does not seem to have a very durable construction. I’d suggest you give the React a look first, bouncier shoe and I’ve since retired these for running “mom errands” or quick jogsTerrible!!!! The old design which I have had a few pairs of ( lunarglide 4 and 5 ) were amazing trainers , bought them in a running shop where they video you on a running machine to see how your foot lands because I was having knee problems and the old style was recommended.... never had a knee problem again they were amazing the structure of them did the job brilliantly. The lunarglide 9 are useless ..... why do people mess with a good design ???? The lunarglide 9 give little stability because they have narrowed the sole across the widest part of your foot making them feel wobbly on rough ground and flat , the shape has changed and to be honest they look cheap like a supermarket trainer .... basically they are good for nothing ..... will now have to track down a pair of the older design instead when Nike knew what they were doing .I had recently bought a few size 6's in this model of trainer (my usual size in this model, have been buying for a few years) and they have been too big so I will have to resell them. So I bought these in 5.5 and they are just perfect. I adore the colour, the fit. They are so cute and look great with some bright pink Puma trainer sox - I bought a few pairs of to wear with them. Very supportive and look fab with trousers, skirts, shorts or for the gym. Thanks guys : ). Will buy another pair now actually if you have in stock...Bought these to replace old Lunarglide 7s. A well made trainer but is nothing like the fit of the previous "7". They have a semi fixed tongue which is good to stop it wandering about but if you have high insteps it can be a bit tight to get on. The main quibble I have is they are much narrower in fit and probably will take some getting used to. Not 100% happy as yet but time will tell. These trainers are perfect for multiple types of exercise, your arch is supported and the feel light on your feet. The pink colour is a bit bright - may be good for winter running! I would like to purchess a more toned down colour in the future!Comfortable
