I was looking for something that fit and held me very tightly because I was training for a marathon and planned to wear these for the official race too. These fit great, very tight (as they were supposed to be) and I especially love the length because it offered plenty of coverage for a chick with a big butt and thick thighs (5'10", size 12).....BUT, I'll only give a 2 star rating, because after only three runs and normal machine wash (no dryer, duh, I've been around the block with athletic wear before) they were totally see through. I expected much better quality for such a steep price tag for compression shorts. Not purchasing this brand ever again.I bought these because my quads light up within seconds when I'm on a bike. Based on reviews and word-of-mouth, I thought these would help delay the onset of lactic acid build up. No such luck. They are very expensive for what they do (or don't do). I was really wishing these would do what they were hyped up to do. Instead, this was an expensive trial and error purchase. They do provide support but uncomfortable. I opted Cep base shorts/tightsVery comfortable. it works for me in Cross fit to combat muscle fatigue.Very good compression! I started using this when I had recovered from a hamstring injury, and I am very pleased with the level of support. With these shorts on, my hamstring no longer feels weak. I have tried other compression tights such as Skins A200 but feel that they don't give as much support as this model. I measure 163 cm and weigh about 47 kg. I got an XS which sits well. The shorts come to just above the knee.
