Purchased these in a medium; also purchased the Summit in a small & they're 2" shorter which makes for a better fit. I can wear either size depending on the cut. The Elevate were 13" long, at 5'3 they landed right above my knee; in a medium the waist was too big but they fit my thighs just like the Summit in a small. I think these are a straight cut while the Summit is a baggy cut. Since I bought them for a loose fit I'm keeping them. So you might consider going up a size if you want a baggy fit. If you want a traditional riding short maybe the Summit is the better choice, especially if you're on the shorter side.These shorts are great - fit as I had hoped they would.Great short. Worn already on many rides. Fabric seems to stain a little with grease etc. buying in another color.I'm 5'3". They were too long. If I was a downhill biker and wanted something knee pad friendly, I may have kept them.Great shorts! A bit long on me...just past my knees but I cuff them up.
