I have had problems with the Pearl Izumi Attack shorts chamois chafing me on long rides. I took a chance and wore these on a 2 hour ride where temps got to the mid 70's and humidity was pretty high. ZERO chafing! WIN!!! I LOVE the side cargo pockets. They are gusseted at the bottom that you don't notice until you put something in there.These shorts also have a little pocket at the waistband in the back. It's pretty small and since it has no closure, I'm not sure I would put anything in it other than a gel - definitely not money or keys.My only complaint is the tags - when are we going to get tagless cycling shorts.? I was ready to head out the door and felt something "stabby" in the shorts. YUP - those stupid tags... and sooo many of them. Took the shorts off and trimmed those suckers off.These shorts washed up nice and I always hang dry.I think I have found my new favorite long distance outdoors cycling shorts.
