This was my first pair of bibs, bought after reading many reviews of bike shorts, and like an earlier reviewer, I read these were the best. I was concerned about the length with bibs because I have a long torso, so I bought the medium, tried them on, they did fit well in the length and they actually can be pulled down without taking off the straps for your bathroom breaks (Pit Stop). The legs were comfortable with a nice compressive fit on the thigh (I have ample thighs). Given the fit off the bike, I thought they would be comfortable on the bike. I decided to keep them despite the price because I accidentally tore off the tag when trying them on. The ultimate test is the ride and once in the saddle I found them very uncomfortable and chafing even with chamois cream, so I cannot wear them on short rides let alone a century. Everyone seems to have a different anatomy and position in the saddle than the testers, so finding a comfortable set of bike shorts is an expensive endeavor. The hunt continues.
