The black size large with a four inch inseam by 2XU are made in PRC (china). The shorts are made from a 71% nylon and 29% spandex material (different from the item description). The size chart at the 2XU website suggested a large for my size 8 frame and offers some compression. I think a medium would give me the compression I wanted. The large size is comfortable enough for all day wear and the only issue is the waistband does slide down on me after a while. I did not find any issues with the fabric or stitching out of the bag. The material is dense and passed my squat test. The fabric has a slick feel, but also attracts pet hair. These are great shorts that I do recommend despite the minor issues.4 stars
