Owned similar product for a decade, finally got a new pair. LOVE the pockets on these. They are short enough to allow a high level of mobility, but they do not feel like booty shorts (which I like). The only issue is that the material does not give as much as I would like. When I do full, deep squats, the shorts catch a little. If there was a little more spandex, or there was a slightly higher cut on the side, it would be perfect. But I am perfectly fine with this because there are pockets. These are good for running, crossfit, high intensity workout, etc. They are very thin, but seem durable. The liner is black and I cannot see them through it. The grey is a medium grey: not light, but not super dark. It is a healthy coverage for those that don't want to go black or light, so they hide dirt well. I liked the fit and everything so much I got another pair in dark teal (which is really like a navy-ish color).Absolutely love these shorts. Perfect for playing tennis since the length is just long enough but the pockets are really the selling point. The pockets can fit two tennis balls (one in each pocket) comfortably and still be able to move around. I wanted some shorts to be active in but still have deep pockets to put my phone/headphones/keys in and they fit the job. I did order a size up from my normal short size, which would be a medium in this case, due to other reviews stating they ran somewhat big. For reference I usually wear pant sizes ranging from 6-8 and I'm about 145 pounds and 5.5'' tall. Honestly I could have gotten away with a medium because I have to use the drawstring tie in the large I have. That being said, the large doesn't bother me and it doesn't ride up from exercise. I even got compliments on the color from family and friends. I definitely recommend you try them, you won't be disappointed. They feel a little longer than a 3.5 inch short. I normally wear 3" shorts for running but these seem much longer than simply 0.5" longer. However, they are very light and comfortable. I love the pockets. I ended up not using them as much for running as for just relaxing shorts because of the length.Great length (not too short or too long) and fit. The material is really nice. I use them with my swimsuit for my son swim classes and they're great. No bulging the in the front...love that they look dry even when they're wet. I can even see myself using them in the summer cause they are so comfy. I had originally bought the Dasior Women's Quick-Dry Running Active Shorts Beach Swim Trucks but returned them because they material laid funny and the bulged in the front, these pair are so much better than I bought two pairs. Nice medium grey color, the eggplant is a nice color as well.I have very hard-to-fit hips and thighs... usually wear a size 12 or 14 pants so I ordered an XL thinking they would give me a bit of extra room (I wear size L in Nike Tempos and they're a bit tight). Sad to say, no extra room. The shorts feel great but seem to be cut smaller than other exercise shorts. Other than that, no complaints! Great price and shipped quickly. The pockets are small. I always worry that my phone will fall out of them. I got them for going to Universal Studios so I could put my phone in my pocket for rides that you cant have anything loose, but I was really worried my phone would fall out. Other than that they are good shorts, comfortable, and great for working out of the beach. This are my favorite shorts!. It is so hard to find ladies shorts that have pockets! I bought a small and had to exchange for a medium. Not sure if it just me, but the small seemed to run small and the mediums are a little baggy on me. It doesn't stop me from wearing them as soon as they come out of the laundry tho. Just trying to help you out on sizes.I am 5'2'', 150 lbs, usually wear an 8 or 10 pant. The medium is too small for me. Very tight. Will retry in large and update post.Material is light and I love the pockets.
