At 5'4 normal bike shorts end up looking pretty goofy on me - the length of these are perfect for anyone with shorter legs because they don't end up making you looking like a clown. They're really well made, and there are plenty of zippered pockets to stash your keys, IDs, etc. I especially love the color! They've held up really well on my mountain bike rides, though I imagine if I wiped out they wouldn't provide the same amount of protection as longer shorts.I would have given these shorts 5 stars if they had actually come with the removable chamois liner like they said they would - mine came only with the shell/shorts.
