The shorts have a pocket in bag which is perfect for my phone which wireless headphones. There isn’t a lot of material in between the legs( crotch) to the top of the shorts was short and it look a little awkward. The Padding on the booty is adequate for sprints.I bought these in the size given on the size chart and they fit great. I noticed many reviewers saying to get a size bigger because they run small. Please remember that this is supposed to be a compression type garment and is meant to be super snug. These are tri shorts and should never be baggy on you anywhere. I've been on a few bike rides in them. The legs stayed in place and I had no issues with them riding up. Since they are tri shorts, the padding is still pretty minimal so you still may get a little sore after a long bike ride but it's better than no padding. My favorite feature is all the pockets. Give them a good once over because there are pockets where you don't expect pockets. Very handy. These shorts are really fantastic. They fit tight enough for the water- they cinch at the bottom so that they don't flap around- much like a shorty wetsuit. Material's quick dry, and they mean it. I was dry halfway through the bike. Only thing is that they didn't have much padding for the bike, so anything longer than a sprint might give you that painful "I just road a horse and my tush hurts" feel. But hey, more padding means more bulk so I guess it's a trade off.Overall, these shorts had a great feel and the materials were of quality. Unfortunately, I should have followed other reviewers recommendations and ordered a size up. I'm a 136lbs with 38in hip, I followed the manufacturers sizing chart, but these were still a bit to snug.I like the tight fit, but also smooth on my skin and not tight in the thigh (for my body type anyways- 5"2, 110#), it could be even a bit tighter in the thigh but this is my first pair of tri shorts. The foam/cotton peri pad took some getting used to, but makes riding much easier. Its maybe a bit bigger than expected but breatheable.Don't buy if using for cycling. Pad is very thin and bottom started to hurt after riding 5 miles on my rode bike. Wish I could return them. Otherwise, I went one size up and they fit great and look good.I bought these to train in for a triathalon but have't swam in them yet. However, I did go up a size as advised and glad I did.I am usually a medium, but I order a large and am very satisfied with the fit.
